Licensed Esthetician and Certified Makeup Artist

Jeni Maniaci’s impressive background has been fueled by an unbridled passion for all things beauty, fashion and art. Born and raised in Southern California, Jeni received her A.A. in Merchandising & Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM). Ms. Maniaci went on to become a Licensed Aesthetician, earning specialist certifications from Joe Blasco, Hollywood and the International Dermal Institute (Dermalogica).

Jeni specializes in and has a true love for avant-garde makeup. While at FIDM, she attended fashion shows and fell in love with the painted faces on the runway. As a lover of painting, her time at FIDM made Jeni realize that she wanted to pursue beauty and treat skin as her canvas.

In 2006, Shu Uemura started opening boutiques in North America and Jeni was asked to bring her expertise to the company’s high-end clientele and events at South Coast Plaza. Ms. Maniaci learned that “beautiful makeup starts with beautiful skin”, a philosophy from Mr. Uemura that she has carried with her ever since. During this time, she also had the honor of assisting Gina Brooks – Creative Director at Shu Uemura and Madonna’s personal makeup artist – at a red carpet event, which Jeni considers the highlight of her cosmetics career.

Jeni later became a certified artist and trainer for MAC Cosmetics in both the Bay Area and Southern CA, and has intermittently freelanced for clients in the fashion and photography spaces. Today, Ms. Maniaci brings her extensive experience, education and talent to the Modere team as Executive Assistant to the CMO.
