The Emmys are just around the corner, and that has us thinking about the lives of the rich and famous. Glamour, beauty and talent are all par for the course – along with a bit of craziness, especially when it comes to their diets.
It’s no secret that staying fit and trim comes with star power territory, but it’s safe to say that these 6 celebs are taking it to the next level.
1. Jennifer Aniston
This A-lister has been known to dine on baby food when preparing for a movie. That’s right, like the mushy kind of stuff that comes in a jar.
After being cast in Dreamgirls, Beyoncé trimmed down quick on a crazy master cleanse featuring a lemon juice concoction. The mandate? Drink six or more servings of the lemon juice mixture every day. Yuck.
3. Jennifer Lopez
Rumor has it that JLo carries around a tube of grapefruit oil. She doesn’t eat it. She smells it, hoping to receive some of the fruit’s fat-busting enzymes the olfactory way.
4. January Jones
January’s plan to lose the baby weight after her son was born is nothing short of insane: She had her placenta dried, crushed and stuffed into pills, which she took every day in an attempt to get rid of excess pounds. Even though placenta pills have been touted to have other positive effects, taking them for weight loss is still bonkers to us!
5. Marilyn Monroe
This Hollywood icon mixed raw eggs into a glass of milk each morning, which was meant to sustain her until dinnertime. Her reward? A hot fudge sundae for supper every night.
Everyone loves Madonna, but her diet choices have been insane over the years. One of the craziest? The Air Diet. Yep. Based on the belief that people can stay sustained on sunlight particles in the air we breathe, it’s less of a diet and more like another name for starvation.
We love celebs, but let’s face it: none of these diets are sustainable or balanced. Looking for one that is? Check out M3 and start working towards your A-lister bod – without having to dip into the baby food.
