3 of the ‘it-spots’ for germs
You cough into your elbow. You make sure to wash your hands before leaving the restroom. You even carry anti-bacterial gel in your purse, back pack or gym bag. So, you’re covered…right?
Unless you walk around in a hazmat suit in public, you’re encountering possible germ havens. (Yeah…orange isn’t our color either.) They say knowing is half of the battle, so have extra caution when coming in contact with these places that have been proven to be the ‘it-spot’ for germs:
- ATM Machines–You know, because tons and tons of people touching the same buttons over and over while handling cash is a recipe for clean.
- Restaurant menus—Oh, you didn’t see your server wipe your menu off before he handed it to you? Us neither. But, I’m sure the person who ordered before you has impeccable hygiene.
- Airplane tray tables—They may be charging for everything on an airplane nowadays, but germs come free!
We’re not trying to scare you into wearing medical masks, but if you know where the germs are most likely to be, you can use a paper towel to touch these places, wipe them off, or use the back of your hand instead of your fingers or palm.
Oh, and there is always soap and water. In fact, the CDC states: “Regular handwashing, particularly before and after certain activities, is one of the best ways to remove germs, avoid getting sick, and prevent the spread of germs to others.”
Thankfully, Modere has your back…and your hands. We offer great cleaning products, as well as a liquid hand soap.
